As I’ve always mentioned, my girl is a certified bookworm. Give her a book and she’ll be one happy girl. She can read at anytime and any place. I had to reprimand her a few times for reading while walking up the stairs or reading in the car. But sometimes, with our inconsistent homeschool schedule, I’m just thankful that she’s into reading. I mean, even if we’re not doing homeschool but she’s still learning history, culture or geography through reading books. I’m really getting old. Whenever I ask my students at the Center about the course their taking in Univesity, I actually hear them saying some long unfamiliar names. Oh, I’ve never heard of those courses before. During our time, it was much simpler, you can get a degree on Education, Business Administration or Engineering. Now, there are courses such as those for Occupational Health & Safety Technician Jobs or Agro-industy major in plastic (or something like that ). Legoland is going to open at the end of 2012 in Malaysia! I was actually quite excited when I heard about this. But as I learned more details about it, I got a little bit dismayed. First, is the location. It’s located in JB and that’s about 3 hours from KL! We seldom go to KL ( once or twice a year) and we mostly go there for ‘business’ purposes so, it’ll be quite difficult for us to go to JB to visit the site. If only this is located somewhere nearer. But I’m sure this also a marketing tactic since having the location here will cater to both the Singaporean...
