I’m so happy with my son’s reading developments! He has really improved so much and unlike before, it’s no longer a struggle for him to read. He’s actually starting to enjoy reading and has been trying to read other materials too. I’m so excited for him because I know reading will really open a lot of other things for him. We’re currently halfway on our reading curriculum and I just can’t praise the book ( Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons) enough for teaching our kids to read!
We truly thank God for His provision in our lives especially with our children’s education. We’re set to buy another year of our kids’ homeschool curriculum and yes, we already have the provision! Just like general liability insurance cost , we need proper finances to buy the books needed for homeschool. We might be ordering their books next week and I’m excited. It’ll just be so timely since we are almost finishing this year’s curriculum.
My daughter has just finished studying the section of the Human Body for her Science curriculum. She has immensely enjoyed that section and said that now she loves her Science subject. I wonder if she will have an interest to study the medical field and become a doctor like Keith Hilliker, MD after this. There is still one subject though that’s not her favorite and that’s Math. At first she found it too repetitive and after she finishing her book, I’ve introduced her to a more advance level and now she finds it too challenging. So, I guess I really have to find the middle ground...
I’m waiting for this book to be delivered on our doorstep this week. I actually ordered this from Book Depository during their Bargain Bucket sale. The original price was $ 8.77 and I only bought it for $3.96. Yeah, that’s more than 50% discount. It’s a book for my daughter since she’s now interested to do creative writing. I haven’t had much chance to read the reviews because I was just so excited to buy it. But I hope it will ba a book to help her write her poems and stories.
I found this easy-to-make outdoor lamps in Pinterest and I immediately showed it to my contractor.. err.. husband. Hehehe! He likes the concept so much that he plans to make them for our porch. I, on the other had am so excited and can’t wait for him to start the project. I really don’t know how he’s going to put the electricity out or whether he needs cord management for this, but then, I’m just the ‘interior designer’ and I will let my contractor deal with that. I’ll surely post some photos once this DIY project is done.
