I think every parent would wish that their children would spend more time reading books than watching cartoons or playing with the computer. I have one who actually does that, but then I think my child reads too much. It’s like all she does is read all day. Her brother who likes to play more than anything would actually have to make ‘appointments’ with her so she can spare some time to play together.

For the sake of my daughter’s eyes,we try to regulate her reading time, but then she gets crabby and whiney when we take out her book. And since she’s a certified bookworm, all I could do is to give her good books ( homeschool books) to read and have the ‘not-so-good books’ regulated.
