Our Homeschool Room

I love the Geography Songs CD we got from Sonlight! The songs really make the kids remember the different countries in each continent. My daughter hasn’t finished memorizing the songs in the CD yet but we’re trying to go through it week by week. Maybe after this, we could also go through the country flags and try to remember them. I’m not sure though if it’s a good idea to buy all the color guard flags at wwbw or just make them ourselves. Anyways, learning geography can truly be fun with songs, maps and crafts.  

Technically, we’re done with homeschool for this year. I’m done with the goals I’ve set for my boy this year and for my daughter, she’s done with all her books. But I’m not officially ending our homeschool yet and ‘declaring’ a school break, since I feel that I have a lot of reviewing to do with my kids. We will take a bit more time to review all the year’s lessons first and only then I can declare an official school break. I’m not actually in a hurry since I still haven’t ordered our homeschool materials for yet. I’m aiming...
