I was going through our book schedule with my daughter last night. I thought of reading for her ( for our read aloud) a book that she hasn’t read yet. As mentioned earlier, she has been reading her Readers and Read Alouds books in advance. Have I mentioned she’s a voracious reader?
So, I went through the list week by week.. Have you read, Sticks in the Chimney? -”Yes”, Have you read Philomena?- “Yes”. Captain Nobody?- “Yes” …. I went from Week 4 to Week 32.. and finally, I asked , ‘ How about ‘ The Word came with Power? - “No, I thought that was your book!”, was the reply .. LOL! it means she has read all her Readers and Read aloud books but one because she thought that it wasn’t hers! Funny girl!… and to think that we’re only a month into our homeschool year and she’s using Readers for Grades 4-5! She’s a certified Bookaholic!
